Video: Top Ten Mad Superstar Rantings

Load the top ten with the rocket fuel. Promos are a very important part of wrestling, quite possibly more important than the wrestling itself. If you don’t care about someone in the ring, odds are you’re not going to put your money down for a show, a t-shirt or a ticket. That being said, sometimes wrestlers get on a rant and can’t stop themselves before it gets out of control.

WWE has released a Top Ten video of the best Superstar rantings over the years. Some of these are done by wrestlers and others are from managers and mouthpieces. Many of them are modern choices but at the same time there are some classics, ranging back over the course of thirty years. Here’s the list:

Opinion: Some of these are outstanding and I want to go back and see some of these matches and angles all over again. If you can get someone on a good enough rant, they can be the most entertaining things you’ll see in wrestling. I’m still upset we never got the epic Miz vs. Daniel Bryan match (if that could ever happen one day, it would indeed be epic) but we did get some of these and they were awesome.
