Full Dream Match: Dudley Boyz vs. Outsiders

This one fits the billing. You often hear the term “dream match” thrown around in the wrestling world and very rarely does it actually live up to the hype. I’m not sure who considers some of these things to be dream matches but on occasion, they completely live up to the hype. That was the case about eight years ago, when two of the best tag teams of all time clashed in a company where neither of them made their name in the first place. But it’s not important when it’s this big of a pairing.

At least it’s not a nightmare. Check out an actual dream match.

Team 3D vs Kevin Nash & Scott Hall: FULL MATCH (TNA Lockdown 2010) | IMPACT Wrestling Full Matches

Impact Wrestling has posted the full version of Team 3D (also known as the Dudley Boyz) vs. Scott Hall/Kevin Nash from Lockdown 2010. As is usually the case at this event, every match, including this one, is taking place inside of a steel cage. This match is part of a continuing feud between the teams that started when Hall and Nash, collectively known as the Band at the time, arrived back on January 4 and started to take over the company. This is the only time that these teams faced off in a two on two tag match.

Opinion: Like I said, it’s rare to see a real dream match and while this would have meant a lot more a few years earlier, it’s still better than nothing and something worth checking out. Putting it in a cage didn’t do it many favors either, but at least there was a story and it wasn’t just throwing a match out there for the sake of having it in the first place. Also, it’s kind of nice to just have them do it once rather than running the feud into the ground, which is so often the case in a feud like this.
