This didn’t go so well. Last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw wasn’t exactly a ratings winner but you can write a lot of that down to the Memorial Day holiday. Shows on major holidays never do well and it’s no surprise that it happened again last week. However, what happens if the numbers don’t go back up? This isn’t the best time for television numbers in WWE and that tends to be the case every year. So how did things go with two weeks left before Money in the Bank?

You wouldn’t want to see numbers without knowing what happened, so check out our full results right here.

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw drew a .85 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.526 million viewers. These numbers are up 11% and 1% respectively from last week’s .77 demographic rating and 2.495 million viewers. This week’s show was headlined by Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor in a match between two Money in the Bank qualifiers. The other major match of the night was a Tag Team Battle Royal with the winners becoming #1 contenders for a title match at some point in the future.

Opinion: The rating is better but the fact that the viewership only went up by 1% over the Memorial Day show isn’t a good sign. People just aren’t interested in seeing what Monday night Raw and SmackDown Live have to offer right now and I can’t say I’m surprised. These matches mean nothing for the future and are just there for the sake of filling in time. They could add some personal stories into the ladder matches but instead it’s just the ladder match and nothing else. I can’t say I’m surprised that the numbers are down and it’s likely to be even worse next week.
