I know you! There have been a lot of people throughout the wrestling industry over its long history. Some of these names are a lot more famous than others, but with so many names out there, it can be a lot of fun to see them pop up again years after their active careers are over. That was the case again this week, but it was done on a scale that is a bit higher than usual.

One of the best things about AEW has been their mixture of multiple generations at the same time. The company’s roster is made up of several veterans, modern wrestling stars and young up and comers, all of whom have come together to make a heck of a lineup. They also have a history of bringing in a variety of retired legends and non-wrestlers to make things even bigger. Almost every group was represented this week.

This week’s AEW Dynamite featured four cameos from former wrestlers or wrestling personalities. During a press conference involving the Inner Circle, wrestling podcaster Conrad Thompson and former WCW and WWE personality Eric Bischoff were among the names who asked questions.

Then during a video on the upcoming Kenny Omega vs. Jon Moxley match, Japanese deathmatch legend Atsushi Onita appeared to talk about the exploding barbed wire deathmatch. Finally, James J. Dillon, the former manager of the Four Horsemen, accompanied FTR and Tully Blanchard to the ring. There is no word on any of them appearing regularly for AEW.

You might remember these people from before. Check out some of their other more famous appearances:

Opinion: Some of these are better than others, as names like Thompson and Bischoff, seem to be more for the sake of a quick smirk than anything else. Others, like Onita and Dillion, are the kind of names who feel like they actually add something to the segment. This worked well and I liked all four cameos, even if some of them were a little more important than the others.
