Former WWE Star Lands Starring Role In Upcoming Action Film

He has a new job. To say WWE has been shaken up over the last year and a half would be a huge understatement. The company has released well over 100 wrestlers in less than two years and it has reshaped the company’s roster. However, it also brings up the question of what happens to all of the released wrestlers. Now we know what one of them will be doing, and it has nothing to do with wrestling.

According to Fightful Select, former WWE star and NXT Champion Karrion Kross will be starring in an upcoming action film, which will begin production next year. There are currently no more details on the film, including where it will eventually be released. There is no word on what this will mean for Kross’ wrestling career. Kross has not wrestled since being released from WWE on November 4.

Opinion: I’m not sure what kind of acting chops Kross has or if this project has the potential to go anywhere, but at least he is having the chance to do something outside of wrestling. Maybe he can figure out something to do without getting in the ring, but at least he is getting the chance to try. At worst, he’s yet another wrestler turned into a failed actor, which puts him in good company.
