Not so fast? The rise of AEW has changed the way the wrestling world works and several of the changes have been very positive. One of the most important things has been the fact that wrestlers now have another place to go. It means that wrestlers have been able to go somewhere else rather than just WWE. One day some of those AEW wrestlers are going to be free agents, but WWE might not be interested in one of their top stars.

Earlier this month, AEW’s Maxwell Jacob Friedman mentioned that he will be a free agent in 2024 and promised to start a bidding war. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, there might not be a strong interest in Friedman from WWE, who have not seen him as a big deal. There is always a chance that WWE could up their offer, but at the moment, Friedman is expected to stay with AEW.

Friedman has been a star in AEW. Check out what he has done there so far:

Opinion: If WWE doesn’t see something in Friedman, I have no idea what they are thinking. The only possible scenario is that they are not willing to let him be Friedman on their television shows, which would make sense, but it would almost be worth the chance just to see what happens. Friedman has come off like a star since the day he debuted and should be a huge deal anywhere he goes.

What do you think of Friedman? Will he ever go to WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
