He’s a former champion after all. With the announcement of the new WWE UK Tournament and everything that could come from it as a result, some wrestling talent has an interest in what might come of it. One such name is Al Snow, who appeared on episode #247 of the “Pancakes and Powerslams Podcast” to discuss the new division.

Regarding the new division, Snow had the following to say:

“I think it’s fantastic. There’s some amazing talent in the U.K. It’s an amazing wrestling scene over there. I have a wrestling academy in London that I operate. [There is a] wealth of talent that’s not been exploited over there. It’s a great opportunity for them to showcase themselves on a bigger platform with the Network. It’s brilliant marketing on WWE’s part. Now, they can give content that can drive that U.K. market, and, hence, the European market. An exposure for talent that they could eventually bring up to the main roster. There’s nothing but positives for them.”

This certainly doesn’t sound like Snow trying to get a job out of this or anything. Snow has been with TNA for several years now and still appears on camera and even in the ring from time to time but at fifty three years old and doing a lot of work on the training and coaching side, I can’t imagine he’d turn down a chance to be a coach in WWE. That’s what it sounds like to me but maybe I’m reading too much into it.
