1. Goldberg defeated Kevin Owens in 22 seconds to become the Universal Champion. This makes Goldberg a two time WWE World Champion and makes his match against Brock Lesnar at “Wrestlemania XXXIII” a title match. Chris Jericho made an appearance to distract Owens to set up the title change.
2. Roman Reigns pinned Braun Strowman clean. Strowman dominated a lot of the match but eventually went to the top rope and missed a splash. Reigns came back with a spear to win the match. There was no appearance from the Undertaker, which had appeared to be spoiled by an Amazon DVD announcement.
3. Bayley handed Charlotte her first ever singles loss on pay per view to retain the Raw Women’s Title. Sasha Banks interfered to help Bayley retain, though it wasn’t clear if Bayley saw what Banks did. Bayley has now defeated Charlotte four times since making her main roster debut last year.
4. Neville successfully defended the Cruiserweight Title against Jack Gallagher. This match was set up a few weeks ago when Gallagher won a five way elimination match on “205 Live”. After the match, Neville ran into Rich Swann backstage and was told that he would be defending the title against Swann the next night on “Monday Night Raw”.
5. Rusev and Jinder Mahal are done as a team. They made the announcement earlier in the day and demanded singles matches later in the night. General Manager Mick Foley agreed and made Mahal vs. Cesaro and Rusev vs. Big Show with Mahal and Rusev both coming up short. The team seemed to have issues earlier this week on “Monday Night Raw”.
