Next in line. Enzo Amore is a rather polarizing figure. While he’s the current reigning and defending Cruiserweight Champion, he certainly doesn’t please everyone around. A lot of fans would like to see him lose the title sooner rather than later and it might be happening as soon as next week.

As announced tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, Cedric Alexander will receive his shot at Amore’s Cruiserweight Title on the January 1, 2018 episode of “Monday Night Raw”. This will be Alexander’s first shot at the title, which he earned last week when he defeated Cedric Alexander in a #1 contenders match.

Alexander got his hands on Amore this week too.

Opinion: I’m rather glad they’re not trying to stretch this out until the pay per view. These two don’t have the best chemistry together but above all else, they really don’t need any extra build. Just let them have the title match, which will likely see Amore retain to keep his reign going on even longer, and let us move on to something else in the near future.

Who do you think wins the match? If Alexander doesn’t take the title from Amore, who does so? Let us know in the comments below.
