There is a role for everyone. With so many wrestlers under the WWE umbrella, it can be a little bit difficult to find something for everyone to do. Every now and then you see someone slowly start to fade away, which may have not been anything they caused. It can leave fans wondering where they are or why they are gone, but now we know what one legend is doing next.

The Women’s Revolution has caused all kinds of great changes to women’s wrestling in WWE today but the current generation of wrestlers have not come alone. The women who brought the Women’s Revolution to WWE were inspired by another group of wrestlers and some of them still pop up every now and then today. One of them will be doing so again, but not in the ring.

During this week’s edition of the Bump, former Women’s Champion Mickie James was announced as one of the hosts of the NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver Kickoff Show. James will be appearing on both nights of the show, which takes place on April 7 and 8. This will be one of James’ only appearances in NXT, other than a match against NXT Women’s Champion Asuka in 2016. She has not wrestled a match on WWE TV since this year’s women’s Royal Rumble in January.

It was a pretty cool moment. Check out the announcement and some of James’ time in the ring:

Opinion: I’m not sure if this is it for James’ in-ring career or not, but she is certainly a legend and someone who deserves the praise that she receives. James can offer a lot in the way of analysis and insight, so why not see what she can offer to the product? NXT can always use people like her and it isn’t like there are very many to pick from, so let her see what she can do.
