One more time (at least). We’re less than a week away from “Summerslam 2017” and that means it’s time to head to Brooklyn. The Barclays Center has been the home of the show since 2015 and with the next edition coming so soon, it’s time for WWE to announce where the show will be in the future.

According to PWInsider.com by way of 411mania.com, the 2018 edition will again emanate the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This will be the fourth straight year that the venue has hosted the show. Just like this year, the arena will host four straight nights of wrestling with NXT’s “Takeover: Brooklyn IV” on August 18, “Summerslam 2017” on August 19, “Monday Night Raw” on August 20 and “Smackdown Live” on August 21.

Here’s one of the great matches that took place at “Summerslam 2016” in the Barclays Center:

FULL MATCH — John Cena vs. AJ Styles: SummerSlam 2016 (WWE Network Exclusive)

Opinion: I for one am thrilled. It’s been far too long since New York City got to have any kind of live wrestling and it’s just not fair that they only had “Wrestlemania XXIX” there a few years ago, plus . Thank goodness they only have to wait a year for four straight nights of action because otherwise they might have to wait a long time like other cities and that’s just not fair to New York. Did I mention it’s been it’s been six years since my city hosted a TV taping and eleven years since its only pay per view?

Do you like a pay per view being in the same city every year? Where would you like Summerslam to go? Let us know in the comments below.
