More Details On Kurt Angle’s WrestleMania 35 Match, Could It Be A Tag Match?

It’s not optimal but it could work. Earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, Kurt Angle made an announcement that a lot of people probably knew was coming: his retirement match would be taking place next month at WrestleMania 35. This seems to be a long time coming as Angle, 50, is a shell of his former self and has seemed ready to be done a long time. Now we have some more possible details on the match.

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Angle’s WrestleMania 35 match will be taking place but the specifics aren’t clear. There is a chance that it will be either a singles match against John Cena or some form of a tag match as Angle might be working through an injury. If it is the former, the match could be announced as soon as this coming Monday Night Raw. Cena has recently hinted at wanting the match.

Opinion: I’d be fine with either of these, though Angle being injured again is hardly surprising. It seems that he can’t go more than a few days without getting hurt in one way or another and if that’s the case, the tag match is the best way to go. If WWE can combine it with another match on the card to shrink the card a little bit, so be it as the card is looking ridiculously huge.
