Earlier this week on Dynamite, Orange Cassidy defeated Rey Fenix to regain the AEW International Championship. Fenix won the title less than a month earlier when former champion Jon Moxley had been injured during their title match. According to Fightful Select, Fenix is currently dealing with visa issues, meaning AEW made the decision to have Fenix drop the title. Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is beyond AEW’s control as visa issues can be quite the tricky situation. On occasion you will see wrestlers have to deal with such a situation as there is only so much that can be done to speed up the process. Hopefully Fenix is back in the ring sooner than later, as this is something he cannot really fix and now we have to wait and see what is next for him.
