Wishful Thinking? WWE Hall Of Famer Wants To Return To The Ring

He’s not done? Retirement is a tricky subject in wrestling as you never know when a wrestler is going to hang up their boots for good. Wrestlers attempt to retire on a regular basis and say that they are done in the ring but then come back later on for one more match elsewhere. That can make for some surprise moments, but now one legend is saying something interesting.

During a recent edition of Insight With Chris Van Vliet, WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair said that he wanted to return to the ring right now. Flair talked about training for his Last Match last year and said that he worked especially hard to get in shape because he had a goal to accomplish. There is currently nothing to suggest that Flair, 74 years old, is going to be returning to the ring at any point in the future.

Opinion: I’m not sure what to think of this, but I’m almost scared to imagine Flair getting back in the ring. He looked a little less than great last year and the idea of him doing it again does not exactly sound great. That being said, this doesn’t come off like someone who is actively trying to return to the ring but rather someone who would do it if he was still capable of doing so.
