He’s up. WWE has quite a few talented wrestlers on its roster, to the point where they have been broken down into a trio of different groups. This includes the NXT developmental roster, which features a mixture of veterans trying to make it to the main roster and developing stars who are longer term projects. It can mean a lot when one of those wrestlers is moved up to the main roster and now we are seeing that again.

This week on SmackDown, NXT’s Tyler Bate appeared as Butch’s surprise partner in a victory over Pretty Deadly. Since the match, Bate has officially been moved to the SmackDown roster, as shown on his official WWE.com profile. Bate, 26 years old is a former NXT United Kingdom and NXT Tag Team Champion and has been wrestling in WWE since 2016.
Bate has all of the potential. Check out what he can do:
Opinion: This is the kind of move that has taken far too long to take place as Bate is more than good enough to move up to the main roster and has been for a very long time now. I’m not sure what took so long for Bate to get this spot. Bate could move on to become something big if given the chance and now he is getting just that, and still at a young age despite being around for so long.
