Charlotte’s Next Challenger Set for Raw

Pay per view rematches for free! If you want someone who the crowd is going to be able to get behind without having to put too much effort into her, go with Bayley. There’s something about her that is so easy to cheer for and that means she has a lot of value. That means she belongs near the Raw Women’s Title and that’s what might be the case in a week.

On this week’s “Monday Night Raw”, it was announced that Bayley will challenge Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte for the title next week. This would be a rematch from “Royal Rumble 2017” where Charlotte beat Bayley clean to retain the title. It could also be part of the build to a rumored four way match for the title at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”.

I smell shenanigans here. While there’s always the chance that they’ll change the title ala Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks on three different occasions last week, this sounds a lot more like a way to set up a future title match, likely at “Fastlane 2017”. Bayley is getting the title one day and I can’t imagine it’s on a random week of TV.
