Yes, they’re real. There have been all kinds of wrestling merchandise over the years and most of them are perfectly logical. You have probably seen your t-shirts and your hats, but then there are some things that just come out of nowhere. Those are the kinds of things that are often the most memorable, as you do not see anything like them. That is what we are seeing again from one of the biggest stars today.

This week on AEW Dynamite, World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman joined commentary for a match between Sammy Guevara and Darby Allin. Friedman brought a signature jar of pickles with him, and it turns out that they are both legitimate and for sale. There are different kinds of pickles, including MJF’s Spicy Devils, MJF’s Better Than You Dill and MJF’s Champions Chips. The pickles are available for pre-order and will be shipped between May 15 and June 30.

Opinion: I don’t even know what to say to this. They’re pickles named after the AEW World Champion. Not only do I not know how this happened, but I’m very curious as to how this idea came about. Did Friedman just decide he wanted his own brand of pickles? How did the sales pitch go? It’s one of those confusing concepts but I might have to bring myself to buy some of them.
