According to TMZ, Wyatt was cited for “careless driving due to his failure to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner”. There is currently no word on what distracted him when he crashed, though the wording of the report suggests that there was no alcohol or drugs involved. It is also not clear if anyone was in the car with him when he crashed. Wyatt was taken to Tampa General Hospital for injuries but has since been released.
Here are some happier, albeit stranger, times for Wyatt.
Opinion: The lack of alcohol and drugs are quite the relief for all parties involved, as is the fact that Wyatt is already out of the hospital and scheduled to defend the Raw Tag Team Titles at Extreme Rules in less than two weeks. It’s never good to have this kind of an accident and it’s even worse if Wyatt was at fault for just not paying attention, but at least he doesn’t seem to be suffering from any kind of major injury.
