Sometimes you need to adjust. Wrestling can be a complicated sport at times. While there is a plan in place for every match, sometimes things can go differently and cause a match to need to be changed on the fly. These changes can be positive and/or negative and it is hard to say what you might see take place. One such change happened recently, though you might not have noticed it.
There are a lot of talented wrestlers under the WWE umbrella these days and some of them are capable of doing some great things in the ring. With so many people on the roster, you are bound to not see all of them, which means there are some hidden gems out there. One of them has been able to get on the map quite a bit in the last few months and in one case, he got more time than expected.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the match between Jordan Devlin and Tyler Breeze ran longer than expected as the show was short on time and the match had to be extended. The match wound up running 15:33 with Devlin winning via his Devlin Side. It is not clear how long the match was originally planned to go or if there is any heat on anyone for the show’s timing issues.
At least it was a good match. Check out what we got:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that is going to happen from time to time and there isn’t much of a way around it. The good thing about wrestling is that you can just put more wrestling on the show and most fans won’t know that anything is wrong. Devlin has come a long way in a hurry and it is a positive sign that he was allowed to wrestle longer in the highest profile match of his WWE run to date.
