There’s a lot to pick from. Back in 1988, WWE held its first Royal Rumble, which wasn’t even on pay per view. The show has been such a success that it became an annual event that has run over thirty years. There are some people who are better than others, with some talent being flat out better than others in the show’s history. But who is the best of the best?
WWE has posted a new graphic on its Instagram page looking at the Top 5 Royal Rumblers Of All Time. While there are no criteria given, the list includes people who have won the match over the years, with some of them having won multiple editions. There are some notable names missing from the list, with a bit of a leaning towards more modern performers than the older generation.
Some of the top ten are in here. Check out the Top Ten Royal Rumble Endings:
Opinion: The more I see from these lists, the more convinced I am that several of them are designed to mess with the fans and get people talking about how ridiculous they are. How you can go with Shawn Michaels over Steve Austin and leave Hulk Hogan out of the top five is beyond me. It feels like this list was put together by someone who doesn’t know much about the Royal Rumble’s history, which isn’t the best thing in the world to do for something like this.
