There’s nothing wrong with a little bonus. On Saturday, NXT UK presented its first ever Takeover special, with Takeover: Blackpool. The event was rather well received with a five match card, including a main event that ran nearly thirty five minutes. You can check out our full results right here, but there was a little more that didn’t make air and that’s what we’re looking at here.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, there were three dark matches before today’s Takeover: Blackpool event. The three matches that took place were Ligero defeating Saxon Huxley, Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aichner defeating Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster and Jinny defeating Isla Dawn. There is no word on if these will ever make air, as there is currently no new episode of NXT UK scheduled for this week.

After this, there wasn’t room for anything else. Check out the awesome main event:

Pete Dunne flips from the top rope to ground Joe Coffey: NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool (WWE Network)

Opinion: The NXT UK show has been getting better and better over the last few weeks and a lot of that is due to its roster. The people involved with the show put on one good performance after another and it’s a good sign to see them getting to appear on the card at Takeover, even if they don’t make the actual show. It’s a sign that they’re doing well, which has been the case on TV most weeks.

Which of these matches sounds best? Who will be doing the most going forward? Let us know in the comments below.
