According to Pro Wrestling Torch, both Triple H and Vince McMahon are fans of LA Knight and are planning to give him a push. However, some backstage believe that Knight’s push could be in trouble as he is said to rub some people the wrong way and is seen as “bad at backstage politics”. Knight is still likely to receive a push, but the backstage issues could be seen as a potential downfall for him. The push is rumored to begin after Summerslam.

Opinion: Unfortunately this is a very real concern, which is a shame as Knight has done so many great things in front of the camera. He has the tools to become a star and hopefully nothing that he does backstage will derail that status. There are already enough landmines in WWE and the sad reality is that this kind of thing can take out almost anyone in a hurry, which may be why Knight’s push has taken so long.
