According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter by way of Wrestlinginc.com, the original plans for the title match called for Lesnar to retain despite Strowman dominating him on last night show. Lesnar’s appearance last night will also be his last appearance before the pay per view but he has filmed some material for next week’s show.
Here’s how last night’s brawl went down. Watch Lesnar’s face when he turns around.
Opinion: I’m excited for the match and they’ve done a lot of great things to actually make me care about it. This has the potential to be one heck of a collision and that’s exactly what “Monday Night Raw” has offered as of late: the big fight feel. The four way last month was excellent and this has the potential to be just as good. Lesnar not being there next week is fine and it makes the anticipation go even higher head into the pay per view.
