A fan on Twitter has asked Ed Nordholm if he would purchase Lucha Underground. Nordholm gave his thoughts and referenced rumors on GFW.

On Twitter, a fan recently asked Executive Vice President of Anthem Sports and Entertainment, Ed Nordholm about potentially purchasing Lucha Underground if a fourth season were to not happen, according to some reports.

Nordholm responded to the tweet and explained that he is sure the rumors of Lucha Underground ending are no more valid than those of GFW.

This comes after Global Force Wrestling Vice President of Production, Kevin Sullivan, ripping into a report by Sports Illustrated in regards to GFW ‘hemorrhaging funds.’

He continued by saying he would be thrilled to have Lucha Underground as a partner in their new Global Wrestling Network. That said, Lucha Underground is available on Netflix. This means that an agreement between the two parties may not be possible.

It is worth noting that the official Impact Wrestling Twitter account retweeted Nordholm’s tweets. Here they are:

If you haven’t been watching GFW and want to know what is going on in their world, we highly suggest you watch this short preview clip for the episode this week. They have some very interesting matches and storylines.
