They do these really well. If there’s one thing that WWE has mastered over the years, it’s video history packages. They know how to take a lot of moments and turn them into one video, usually set to a good song. That’s what they did this week in honor of SmackDown 1000, which had a long history to cover in a short amount of time. As luck would have it, you can see it without watching the full show.
In all its blue glory.
WWE has posted the full version of its history of SmackDown Live video from this week’s broadcast. The three and a half minute video covers the entire history of the show, looking at a variety of moments, matches and themes from the show, all set to Victorious by Panic At The Disco. This video opened the show, continuing a tradition on most milestone shows from WWE.
Opinion: I really have been looking forward to this since the special was announced because I knew WWE was going to knock it out of the park. They might not know how to do everything right, but they figured these things out a long time ago and keep getting better at them. SmackDown Live is a show that deserves this kind of attention and thankfully it received such attention in spades.
