You can’t keep masterpieces forever. For a major wrestling promotion, Impact Wrestling has a rather high degree of turnover on its roster. Wrestlers come and go at a very high rate and it can make for some major roster changes in short order. That seems to be the case again as another wrestler who was only around for about nine months has annouced his departure from the company.
As announced on his Twitter page, Chris Adonis is leaving Impact Wrestling immediately. No reason is given for his decision to leave. Adonis had been working for Impact Wrestling in the role of World Champion Eli Drake’s bodyguard and occasional tag partner. He had appeared for the company since April 2017.
Here’s probably Adonis’ biggest match in Impact Wrestling:

Opinion: While Adonis certainly didn’t have a great run in Impact Wrestling, he was much better there than he was back in WWE. Adonis doesn’t have the most complete character but WWE didn’t do him any favors with a gimmick of “he’s strong”. I’d have been interested in seeing what he could have done with anything else but for some reason that was never an option for WWE.
Would you like to see Adonis back in WWE? If so, how should he be used? Let us know in the comments below.
