They need to figure that out. We are less than a month away from the debut of AEW Collision, which will mark the company’s second two hour weekly series. The show has been rumored for months now and things could be in some trouble, as the debut of the first show might be in for some changes. It’s just for one of the stranger reasons that you might have heard of lately.

CM Punk has been reported to be part of the first Collision, though nothing has ever been confirmed. According to the Haus of Wrestling, AEW rehired Punk’s friend Ace Steel as an agent but would not bring him back on the road as an agent. This reportedly caused issues with Punk, resulting in him not being announced for Collision.
According to PW Insider Elite, the issues between Punk and AEW are legitimate and if they are not resolved, the June 17 premiere of Collision will not take place in Chicago as expected. According to F4WOnline.com, AEW has been in contact with Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, Florida, though the announcement will be made this week on Dynamite.
It’s kind of a mess. Check out both arenas, plus who might be coming back to AEW:
Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on here with Punk and AEW, but the fact that there is an issue between the two sides before Punk is even back isn’t a great sign. It would be great to have Punk back, but I’m not sure if he is worth the headaches that come with him. At the same time, having the show announced for Jacksonville and Punk showing up anyway would be a heck of a surprise.
