Hopefully it isn’t bad. There are a lot of injuries in the wrestling world but one of the worst is anything involving the head. A head injury of any kind can take a long time to heal and it is one of the more serious issues a wrestler can have. Thankfully the industry has started taking head injuries far more seriously, which is why another wrestler is currently missing some time.
According to Wrestlinginc.com, Lance Archer has suffered a concussion and is currently out of action. Archer injured his neck on the October 23 edition of AEW Dynamite when he landed on his head in a moonsault attempt, resulting in a neck sprain. Archer was expected to be out of action for 4-6 weeks due to the sprain, but it is not clear when he could be cleared of the concussion.
Archer can be a heck of a monster when he is healthy. Check out what he can do in the ring:
Opinion: This is something you never like to see and it the kind of injury that can take a long time to heal up. Archer took that landing hard and it isn’t a surprise to me that he is so banged up. That was a lot of size and weight coming down on the top of his head and there is nothing good about it at all. Hopefully he is back sooner than later, just for the sake of his long term health.
