That could be worse. There are all kinds of reasons that someone might be out of action from wrestling. It can be even scarier when someone has a history of bad health issues. Some of them are going to be more serious than others, but it can be quite the relief to hear that things are not as serious as they could have been. Now we might have some better news about a certain legend.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Jake Roberts was undergoing health issues that had him in a wheelchair and using an oxygen tube. According to Bodyslam.net, Roberts is in a wheelchair due to undergoing foot surgery, including having pins inserted into his toes. This is the reason he has been away from AEW television. Roberts has been managing Lance Archer.
Roberts has had a big time in AEW. Check out some of his moments there:
Opinion: This is quite the relief as there is a big difference between a foot injury and needing constant oxygen. There is a chance that Roberts needs both, but if he can walk once his foot is healed, it might not be as bad as it seems. Roberts has had health issues for years and it is nice to hear that things might not be as serious as they seemed just a few days ago.
What do you think of Roberts? What should he do when he gets back to AEW TV? Let us know in the comments below.
