They’re building it up fast. We are closing in on the end of the year and at the same time, we are getting close to AEW’s next pay per view. The event, Worlds End, will take place on December 30. Coming into this week there were only three matches announced for the show, meaning more matches needed to be added. That was the case this week, with the card expanding quite a bit.

Three more matches have been added to the Worlds End card. First up, AEW President Tony Khan has announced that Abadon will challenge Julia Hart for the TBS Title after the two have been interrupting each other for weeks. Two more matches were announced this weekend at Collision. First, TNT Champion Christian Cage will defend against Adam Copeland in a No DQ match. Second, Hook will defend the FTW Title against Wheeler Yuta under FTW Rules. There is no word on how many more matches will be added to the card.

Those are some showdowns. Check out how we got here:
Opinion: This is the set of announcements that the show needed, as the card was looking thin to say the least. Having three more matches, especially title matches, helps boost things up a good bit and now we should be on the way to a stronger show. I’m not sure what else is going to be added, but at least they are on their way to doing pretty well all things considered.
