WWE is set to hold WWE Fast Lane on March 10 in Cleveland, Ohio. It seems that a number of matches for the show are already being locally advertised- despite the Royal Rumble only taking place days ago.
Reminder
Before we continue, we should remind you that cards are always subject to change. The matches listed here are not explicitly confirmed by WWE on TV, so until they are, nothing is official.
So what matches?
The first confirmed match is for the WWE Championship, and it will be Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles. This is a match that hasn’t been received well on social media, as many fans seem to want the rivalry between the two to end.
It is likely that if this first match does take place, it will be the final showdown between the two competitors before WrestleMania 35, where the Champion would take on another Superstar.
Given what took place at the Royal Rumble, it is also likely that Rowan and potentially even Harper may be available for Bryan at ringside.
The second match being advertised is Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair. These two competitors made it to the end of the Royal Rumble, with Lynch obviously taking the victory.
For months, the rumored WWE Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 35 has been either Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey or a triple threat also involving Flair. It is possible that this match will see Lynch put her Rumble opportunity on the line, with the result confirming which direction WWE plans to go in for the bout.
The final advertised match is for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Bobby Lashley is set to defend against Seth Rollins. The man who just won the 2019 men’s Royal Rumble match.
Based on what took place this week on Raw, as shown below, this match will likely be changed to Lashley vs. Finn Balor.
We aren’t sure where Rollins may end up, though a match against Dean Ambrose could be on the cards. With Ambrose now telling WWE he intends on departing the company in April, that match could still be up in the air.
Date:
The Fast Lane PPV is expected to take place on March 10, as we mentioned earlier. This is well over a month away, which means the card will likely have been altered significantly.
Matches mentioned above may be altered, changed or be removed completely.
Editor’s Note:
I personally have enjoyed the Bryan vs. Styles matches, so I’d be fine with one more. Same with Lynch vs. Flair. Lashley vs. Balor could be entertaining, though I’d want to see Balor get the victory.
