Watch: Women From ‘Raw’ Talk About Significance of the Women’s Royal Rumble Match

WWE uploaded several videos to their official YouTube channel featuring a few of the women who have a chance of participating in the upcoming, first ever women’s Royal Rumble.

Stephanie McMahon sent shock-waves through the professional wrestling world when she announced last night on ‘Raw‘ to end the show that there would be a women’s Royal Rumble. This is to be the latest development in the progression of women in the industry following Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks being the first two women to compete in the Middle East.

After ‘Raw’ went off the air, WWE was quick to upload several reaction videos from some of the women to the YouTube channel.

The first video WWE uploaded featured Mike Rome interviewing Mickie James, Alicia Fox and Dana Brooke, who recently joined Titus Worldwide.

WWE spoke next to Banks, who had her family in the arena for ‘Raw.’ She had the opportunity to see their reactions live as the announcement was made.
