We have an update to a story we recently reported on in regards to WWE United States Champion Jeff Hardy suffering an injury during a dark match at SmackDown Live this past week.

It appears the injury Hardy suffered was minor and likely a small sprain as he was back in action during the tour. Hardy went on to face The Miz for the Championship at the live event in Liverpool.

From what we’ve been able to tell based on reports from Twitter and Ringside News, Hardy seems entirely fine. If we hear anything else in regards to Hardy’s health, we’ll be sure to update you here on Wrestling Rumors.

For now, take a look at some of the photographs from the Liverpool live event to see Hardy in action against The Miz:

The current Champion has only recently returned from injury, where he had been out for many months, leaving his brother Matt to fend for himself, eventually becoming ‘Woken.’
