New 205 Live General Manager Rockstar Spud, now known as Drake Maverick confirmed that 205 Live would be going on a number of changes to create a show that the WWE Universe always wanted from the Cruiserweight-based brand.
Maverick announced that there would be a WWE Cruiserweight Title Tournament featuring 16 men culminating at ‘WrestleMania 34.’ This kicked off with Cedric Alexander defeating Gran Metalik and TJP defeating the first-ever WWE U.K. Champion Tyler Bate.
Strong was confirmed as Hideo Itami’s opponent for next week on the show, which will also feature Lince Dorado vs. Kalisto, marking Strong’s main roster debut with the company.
Itami tweeted about the match as you can see below.

It is unknown if this signifies a full-time transition to the main roster or if Strong will be used for this match only and resume his activities in NXT.
