Miz Responds to Ric Flair on Being the Best Heel in Wrestling

‘Raw‘ Superstar and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz was interviewed by WTMJ-TV Milwaukee where he reacted to Ric Flair saying he is the best heel in professional wrestling today.

Flair and Miz are no strangers to one another. Back in 2013, Flair gifted the Ohio native his figure-four submission during the brief period of time Miz was a face.

This was during a storyline where Flair acted as a mentor for Miz while he faced Cesaro, who is one-half of the current Raw Tag Team Champions alongside ‘The Celtic Warrior’ Sheamus.

When Miz was told what Flair had said about him being the best heel in professional wrestling today, this is what the Superstar had to say:

“Ha! Is that what he said? Coming from him that’s an honor, Ric Flair – in my opinion – is the greatest of all-time. I mean he is absolutely incredible, I mean, he gave me his figure-four, how can I say a bad thing about him? You know what I mean? He’s just an incredible human being and incredible in-ring performer. And still, his legend lives on, no matter if he’s in the ring or outside the ring people still do ‘The Strut,’ give the ‘Woo!’ It’s amazing.”
