Impact Wrestling Respond To WWE Promoting Them On Network

Impact Wrestling has now responded to WWE promoting their Global Wrestling Network on the WWE Network during a Table For 3 episode.

In the latest episode of Table For 3, WWE Champion AJ Styles sat down with Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle, where the three discussed a number of topics related to their careers inside the squared circle.

During the episode, footage played showing the rivalry between Angle and Styles in TNA. Towards the end of the episode, WWE also advertised the Global Wrestling Network on behalf of Impact. They asked their users to check out the Network to relieve the rivalry.

Since that time, Impact owners Anthem has released the following statement to Sportskeeda in regards to WWE promoting them:

“IMPACT Wrestling collaborated with WWE on the project and sub-licensed the footage to them for use in their original productions. Accordingly, WWE issued a courtesy for GWN when the footage airs.”

It is unknown if the relationship between Impact and WWE grows in any aspect moving forward. Rest assured though, Wrestling Rumors will continue to provide you with details as we learn of them.
