Could Daniel Bryan Be Intending To Leave WWE This Year?

Could Daniel Bryan be intent on leaving WWE after his contract expires later this year? Ringside News has provided an update on what is happening with the SmackDown Live Superstar.

During the latest installment of PWInsider Elite Audio, Mike Johnson explained that Bryan hasn’t signed his new contract with WWE yet. His current contract expires in September of this year.

The theory going around is that Bryan could leave WWE to go elsewhere and wrestle, as he had teased before getting cleared.

Here is what Johnson had to say on Bryan’s contract:

“He has not. His deal is still set to expire in September and if he does not, he could still walk out and go work elsewhere. Although my gut feeling is it’s not going to happen. He will probably sign a new deal.”

As Johnson explains, it is expected that Bryan continues with the company. This is because the only reason Bryan considered leaving in the past was to wrestle elsewhere if WWE didn’t clear him. They’ve obviously done that.
