Alberto El Patron No Longer a Suspect in Battery Case

Once known as the ‘Mexican Aristocrat,’ it might be safe to say he has fallen below that pedestal over the past few months. From drugs to abuse to calling out others, Alberto El Patron has consistently got himself in hot water.

That said, the man still hasn’t given in and continues to hustle, as evidenced by the fact that he recently announced he would be stepping down from Combate Americas to focus on his first love, which is wrestling.

According to a new update released by Pro Wrestling Sheet, GFW Heavyweight Champion Alberto El Patron is no longer being investigated following an incident at an airport with Paige earlier this month.

A representitive of the Orlando Police Department has explained that moving forward El Patron will no longer be a suspect as they have determined Paige to have been at fault. She will instead be charged for domestic violence. This comes after a report explaining that Paige might be charged for battery. However, the State Attorney’s Office is still reviewing her case before they make a final decision.

As we previously reported, GFW indefinitely suspended El Patron despite him being their largest Champion. They have yet to announce whether the suspension has been lifted or if any repercussions will be felt.

I am glad to see Alberto get cleared of this if he wasn’t at fault, though it remains to be seen what happens with Paige. The situation isn’t over, that’s for certain. Only time will tell how everything plays out, but it is safe to assume Alberto will be in a GFW ring shortly.
