Update on the Bella Twins Feud and “Total Divas”

At “SummerSlam,” Nikki Bella turned on her sister Brie in a big way, costing her a victory over Stephanie McMahon and seemingly splitting the duo collectively known as “The Bella Twins.”

The move has been criticized by many within the industry and outside of it, and this past week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw” saw the inclusion of WWE Divas Champion Paige and former champion AJ Lee into the program. Now, it appears there may be some reasoning given for the feud in the first place.

According to F4WOnline, the primary reason the feud is occurring is because of the hit reality show “Total Divas.” It is said WWE is manufacturing the angle just for the show, and its presence on television may not be for anything more than that.

Additionally, the report mentions WWE is likely to mend them back together by the end of the season, which debuts on E! next week. It has also been confirmed that Jerry Springer will be appearing on next week’s “Raw” to host an intervention between the two. In a teaser aired on “Raw,” Nikki was shown turning on Brie at the aforementioned pay-per-view, confirming its involvement in the series.
