At the time of this writing, on Tuesday, Sept. 2, WWE is taping the Sept. 5 edition of “Smackdown.” Thanks to Derek of NoCoastBias.com, we here at WresltingRumors.net will have in-depth complete spoilers for the show later in the night.

During “Smackdown,” yet another match was added to “Night of Champions.” At one point during the evening, Rusev and Lana issued a challenge to the “World’s Strongest Man” Mark Henry. The former World Heavyweight Champion would go on to accept the challenge from the Russian powerhouse.

A feud between the two had been in the cards around the time of “Money in the Bank,” but it would not come to fruition. However, the two will now clash at “Night of Champions,” for the first time on pay-per-view.

It is unclear if Henry will be pulling double duty for the event, as he and Big Show have formed a tag team. The duo have been continually clashing with Erick Rowan and Luke Harper of The Wyatt Family, leading some to think the duo will be in action at “Night of Champions.”

Rusev has strung a couple of marquee victories on pay-per-view events since his debut in WWE, not losing yet on the grand stage. Most recently, at both “Battleground” and “SummerSlam,” Rusev has defeated Jack Swagger.
