Wednesday afternoon, Destination America announced it had signed a new national television deal with Ring Of Honor. The deal will bring the Sinclair Broadcast-owned program to a more prominent limelight, airing at 8 p.m. ET every Wednesday. The show will debut June 3, leading into the newly-moved “IMPACT WRESTLING.”

While the status of “IMPACT” remains in question after reports last week indicated TNA had been made aware the show was being canceled in September, it appears “ROH TV” will remain on the air at least through the end of the year.

Ring Of Honor has issued the following press release, announcing the deal:

RING OF HONOR debuts on DESTINATION AMERICA Wednesday, June 3rd

BALTIMORE, MD (May 27, 2015) – Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) (the “Company”) announced that it has signed a national broadcast deal with Destination America, part of Discovery Communications, for the Company’s professional wrestling promotion, Ring of Honor (“ROH”). ROH will premiere on Destination America for 26 weeks beginning Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 8pm EST/7pm CST. The announcement was made by Joe Koff, Chief Operating Officer – Ring of Honor Wresting.

Earlier Wednesday, Destination America touted the deal, and promoted it as a lead-in to “IMPACT” for the foreseeable future. It is said TNA talent were unaware of the impending ROH deal prior to the announcement.
