Rey Mysterio Possibly Suffers Major Injury

Rey Mysterio tweeted today that he may have torn his ACL once again.

For those unaware, Dr. James Andrews is one of the highest-regarded specialists in all of the sports world, and is usually used as a last resort for athletes when addressing a major injury. WWE often sends its Superstars there after fear of major injury.

Mysterio is no stranger to injuries, especially with his knees. If surgery is needed, this would be his third major knee surgery, alongside putting his overall procedure numbers nearly into double-digits. The masked man returned last July after missing nearly a year of television, combined through suspension and injury.

Since returning, he was paired in a popular tag team with Sin Cara, who has also experienced some of his own health issues as of late. The duo have not been seen together since the beginning of 2013, due to their respective situations. Mysterio also took some time off this year due to issues with his family.
