A few more details have emerged about the passing of Paul Bearer. Bearer, real name William Moody, died Tuesday evening at the age of 58.
PWInsider is reporting that Bearer had been telling friends and family he had not been feeling well over the past several weeks.
This past weekend, he appeared at the Gulf Coast Wrestler’s Reunion in Mobile, A.L. Bearer, while seeming a tad slower than his normal self, seemed to be in mostly fine health. An update from TMZ concludes that he was suffering from breathing complications, caused by a blood clot.
He was also pictured with Jerry Lawler in a picture taken a little over a week ago.

The wrestling community has poured out in support for the passing of Bearer, as noted last night. Sean Waltman, also known in WWE as X-Pac, has been taking it particularly hard.
I’ll miss you William Moody. George Jones on the radio & Jack Daniels. His crazy sense of humor.I laughed more to him than just about any1.

Woke up thinking I had a bad dream. If you didn’t know Poo Bear (Paul Bearer) then you really missed out on someone special.

Waltman would also echo the sentiments of Kevin Nash regarding Bearer’s inclusion in the WWE Hall of Fame.
R.I.P my friend, you will never be replaced. Not to late to add to the HOF

Not a whole lot more is known about his death at this point, except that he died at around 9 p.m. EST Tuesday. TMZ also mentioned that he has struggled in recent years with health problems, including but not limited to morbid obesity and gallbladder problems.
Bearer last appeared in WWE last April for a brief run while Kane feuded with Randy Orton.
