Daniel Bryan’s injured neck has been the main talking point of everyone in the wrestling world. And while there is a degree of uncertainty surrounding it, it had originally been said that there was a “wait and see” attitude with it.
PWInsider.com, however, reports that there is a little bit different of a mentality with some backstage. While some are under the impression that it won’t be that big of a deal in the long run, the website notes there is also a different sentiment. Reportedly, some are said to be very concerned over what doctors will find once they operate on Bryan’s neck.
Wrestling Rumors noted on Tuesday that there is a belief that Bryan will miss six-to-eight weeks as a result of his upcoming surgery on Thursday, and that WWE officials would be eyeing a return at “SummerSlam” for the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. However, it is now apparent that some backstage are more worried about what could be ahead for the Washington-native.
It was also mentioned on “Main Event” that The Authority will have an official statement regarding the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on next Monday’s “Raw.” There is ongoing speculation that Bryan may be stripped of the championship, though some believe he may actually hold on to it while he’s out.
Editor’s Note:
The guy can’t catch a break. I feel for him, immensely. What’s most important is that he stays healthy though, and he should take his time returning and not rush anything.
