Word going around backstage is that John Cena is still targeting a Royal Rumble return to the ring, which will then set him up for WrestleMania season.
Cena will be at live events throughout the Northeast part of the United States in December, though he will not be competing in the ring. His rehab is exactly where WWE wants it to be, but they will ensure that he is 100 percent ready for a long run upon his return to in-ring action.
The 2014 Royal Rumble will hail from Pittsburgh, Pa. on Jan. 26, 2014.
