WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross took the Q&A section of his website to respond to some thoughts of wrestling fans across the world. Below are some of the highlights from the questions.
Ross was asked by a fan on how Rusev’s character performed like a face at “Hell In a Cell”:
“Rusev is still evolving but he’s cast to be a heel and not a hero. He needs to be diligent on working on his heel nuances. I like his upside but he has to learn and know his fictional role.”
He also commented on Billy Jack Haynes’ lawsuit against WWE, where he is attempting to hold the company liable for any injuries caused among other matters:
“I haven’t kept up with the law suit and am likely not going to. I never hired anyone who I thought could not perform their job safely and professionally plus now talents are given highly extensive medical exams before being signed.”
Ross was also asked about whether WWE should form a partnership with TNA or ROH to help promote partnerships:
“I assume that they could but that’s not likely going to happen. If Impact and ROH were smart they’d form a working alliance with each other but that doesn’t likely happen either. WWE isn’t going to team with anyone and neither is the NFL or the NBA. I wouldn’t either.”

Editor’s Note
The thoughts on Rusev are interesting for sure. I’ve been confused as to why he’s being booked that way, but to me, it’s lack of priority by putting the emphasis on Show and Henry.
