WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross, who just Tuesday suggested Brock Lesnar may be set to return to WWE after WrestleMania, has taken to the Q&A section of his website to field some fan questions. Below are some of the recent highlights.
Ross was asked about whether he would still be considered one of the best play-by-play men in wrestling if WWE had lost the Monday Night War:
“That’s something that I’ve never thought about. I had 19 pretty fun years in the biz before I ever got to WWE so I’d like that think that work accounted for something. Bottom line, it doesn’t matter to me as all any of us can do is our very best and I think that I did that.”
Ross discussed the over-usage of pyros with wrestlers, and suggested there are cutbacks these days:
“Fans now expect a certain level of pyro but due to risings costs of it I see many companies down scaling the pryo that they use which doesn’t bother me. don’t need it for every wrestler, personally.”
He also said Rusev’s first loss should not come against John Cena this Sunday at “Fastlane,” but rather on a bigger stage:
“Eventually Rusev will lose but I’d prefer it to be when it means the most..IE Summer Slam, Royal Rumble or WrestleMania. If Reigns wins the WWE Title then it would help Reigns to beat Rusev down the road in a WWE Title bout.”

Editor’s Note
I’m not entirely confident how the Cena/Rusev match will play out. I’d make it dirty. Sheamus perhaps?
