Global Force Wrestling got off to a thunderous start with the highly-successful “Wrestle Kingdom 9” event held at the Tokyo Dome earlier this year. Jeff Jarrett’s company co-sponsored the show, and even brought in Jim Ross and Matt Striker to call all the action.
According to PWInsider, we should be hearing more from Jarrett relatively soon.
The outlet claims Jarrett is set to make several announcements regarding his promotion within a month or so, correlating just in time with WrestleMania. Many will recall, Jarrett first announced GFW around WrestleMania XXX last year, so he is looking to do the same kind of publicity again.
Jarrett is expected to begin to launch campaigns promoting new talent he will be bringing in for the promotion. No one has officially been signed under GFW contract publicly for performing as of yet, but Jarrett has been on the independent circuit since leaving TNA scouting talent.
Alongside, it is likely his announcements will include information about upcoming live events, and possibly bringing more pay-per-views to American television. This may include an AAA event, says PWInsider.
Editor’s Note
Perfect time for Jarrett to make a move. Hoping things aren’t rushed and he puts out a quality product.
