WWE Hall of Famer Jake “The Snake” Roberts has been in the news the past several months for his ongoing health issues. Ever since the 59-year-old was inducted into the Hall, he’s experienced ongoing health problems, including a bout with cancer in his leg.

Most recently, Roberts was taken off an airplane and placed in a medically-induced coma to treat a growth in his brain. While much of what was found came back as benign, he has noted he is not out of the clear yet. In a Tweet from this past weekend, he updated his status.

The potential battle with cancer is just another bout for Roberts, who has overcome depression among other issues with the help of his friend, Diamond Dallas Page. Page inducted Roberts into the Hall prior to WrestleMania 30.

Roberts made his return to WWE television this past year at “Old School RAW,” leaving his snake on top of the smiling Dean Ambrose. He had pushed to make an appearance in this past year’s Royal Rumble match, though his appearance was scheduled for the “RAW” instead.

Editor’s Note

We’re all rooting on Jake, here’s hoping he can continue to bounce back through adversity.
