Chris Jericho has been known to be on-and-off with WWE over the past several years. Between his new podcast on the WWE Network and working live events, he has stayed busy, even without being on TV full-time.
The former champion made an announcement on his “Talk is Jericho” podcast this week, and its relates to WWE. He said:
“Big Announcement Part I: I’m returning to the WWE. You’re cheering. I hope you’re cheering. I hope you’re excited. Doing the live events again like I did I guess a couple months ago. No TV’s, no pay-per-views. Not to say that won’t happen again soon. But for now, it’s the live events only.”
He also detailed how many shows he’d be on board for:
“In the meantime and in between time, I’m doing 19 shows with WWE in June, July and August. So quite a few shows.”
Jericho said the reason he is not back on television right away is because he is still busy touring with Fozzy and will be taking some family vacations. However, as noted above, he did leave the door open to return to TV soon.

Editor’s Note
Always great for WWE live event gates. He’s a draw and will get to work with some newer talent. Can’t wait.
